| This year’s Propak 2009 show was a tremendous success. Having built our own stand this year we really stood out from the crowds. There really was a strong presence at the show this year, and despite the economic turndown, we feel very positive about the enquiries made. By the end of the show 50% of our machines were sold and a further 30% in the week that followed. The opportunity to showcase our latest technologies was also well received. It seems the buyer’s market were pleased to hear that our range has expanded to include the Clevertech range of palletisers, depalletisers, stretch wrappers and robotics. It also gave us a chance to showcase our latest flightbar machines, overwrappers, shrink tunnels, heat sealers and stretch wrappers. The show has illustrated the need for us to approach the market much more aggressively than in the past. With so many companies now selling inferior quality imported shrink wrappers, shrink tunnels and overwrappers, we realize now more than ever that the local market needs to be aware that Starpak’s range of shrink wrappers, flightbar machines, overwrappers, shrink tunnels, heat sealers and stretch wrappers are built to last for decades and that it makes sense to purchase from a long standing, reputable company like ourselves.
